This isn't a mass giveaway
Every submission is personally reviewed. We're looking for templates that genuinely raise the bar for the community, not volume.
Quality over quantity. Always.
The internet is full of template libraries with thousands of options and nothing worth using. That's not what we're building.
ButterKit's mission is to have the highest quality templates in the world for App Store screenshots. Every template in the library should be something you'd be proud to ship. No filler, no padding, no "good enough."
That's why this program exists: to invite talented designers to contribute work that raises the bar for the entire community. If your template makes it in, it means something.
What gets accepted
The bar is high. Here's what separates accepted templates from the rest.
Original work only
Your template must be 100% your own. No stock assets, no borrowed layouts, no AI-generated artwork. We verify originality.
Polished and complete
Every artboard should look finished: consistent typography, clean alignment, and thoughtful spacing. No rough drafts.
Well-organized
Artboards should be clearly named and logically ordered. The template should be easy for anyone to pick up and customize.
Source files included
Attach your project file so we can review the full build. Submissions without source files will not be considered.
Ready to use
The template should solve a real workflow. Think: "Would another developer actually choose this for their App Store listing?"
Visually distinctive
Stand out from existing templates. We want fresh ideas that expand what's available, not variations of what's already there.

Rights & fine print
Transparency matters. Here's how the program works.
If your template is accepted, you'll receive a full ButterKit Pro license. The license remains valid as long as your template is available in the community library. You may also be credited as the creator.
By submitting, you confirm the work is original and grant ButterKit a perpetual, non-exclusive license to include and distribute the template for free as part of the ButterKit community.
You retain full ownership and authorship of your template.
If you share or promote your template publicly, please disclose that you received a free ButterKit Pro license as part of this program.
Submissions are optional and reviewed manually. Acceptance is not guaranteed. ButterKit may remove templates that no longer meet quality guidelines and reserves the right to update these terms.
