What is ButterKit?

ButterKit™ is designed from scratch to be the smoothest way to publish apps to the App Store. It handles the tedious work for you:

  • Generating polished, professional App Screenshots in 3D, editable devices
  • Providing templates for starting quickly, or the flexibility to build from scratch
  • Translating and localizing App Screenshots into all 39 App Store Connect languages
  • Managing and translating metadata like App Description, Promotional Text, and “What’s New” text
  • Optionally uploading everything to App Store Connect directly, or exporting to images etc

All with no accounts and no subscriptions required.

Getting Started

Capture in Xcode or Fastlane (or manually)

ButterKit integrates directly with Xcode Simulator, capturing your screenshots and immediately framing them into photorealistic devices. Or you can link a folder of images (e.g. via Fastlane or UI testing automation) and ButterKit applies the images automatically for you.

Adjust your design

A growing library of professionally designed templates make it easy to get a professional look quickly. Or start from scratch. Adjust 3D rotation, background colors, gradients, full text/font support, and more.

Translate automatically

ButterKit does the heavy-lifting for you, translating using the on-device ML-powered translation engine for 20 languages, or using OpenAI for all 39 App Store Connect languages (Pro feature). It does this while retaining your design constraints so text looks great in all languages.

Export or upload to App Store Connect

Upload directly to App Store Connect using the built-in uploader, or batch export all of your screenshot images into neatly organized folders.

System requirements

  • Operating System: macOS Sequoia (15.6) or later
  • CPU: M-Series recommended (Intel works too)
  • Internet for Pro license activation and for optional features (e.g., translation providers, updates)
