11 new App Store Languages, Apple Vision Pro, and AI Image Placement
ButterKit now supports all 50 App Store Connect languages, adds Apple Vision Pro support, and lets AI agents place images on your artboards.
What's in this release
NEW New Features
- All 50 App Store Connect languages now supported, including the 11 new ones Apple added on March 31: Bangla, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Slovenian, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. Localize via cloud translation models. Manual App Store Connect upload required for these languages until Apple updates their API. (thanks Turushan)
- Apple Vision Pro support (thanks Bob L)
- AI agents (via MCP) can now add and position images on your artboards: logos, icons, badges, and more. Set an Agent Import Folder in Settings > AI Agents (MCP) > File Access so agents know where to find your assets.
FIX Bug Fixes
- MCP: ButterKit no longer launches in the background when you open an AI tool like Claude Desktop or Codex. The MCP helper now exits quietly if ButterKit isn't already running. To restore the old behavior, add "--auto-launch" to your MCP config. More info in docs.
- Fixes MCP issue where Claude had trouble discovering ButterKit's tools because of tool naming conventions. If you had trouble using Claude + ButterKit, this version should fix it.
- Clicking empty space in the artboards panel now deselects artboards, just like it already did on the canvas. (thanks Robert M!)
- Fixes issue where Simulator Capture Tool could stop working on Xcode 26.4 due to sandbox changes.
- Improves error handling.
- Adds a bit more butter to the UI 🧈
